- My husband and I are grateful for the lives we lead; I want everyone to have an opportunity to feel this level of gratitude for themselves. As human beings, I believe we have an inherent need to share, help, and rely on one another in local & global communities. However, having a BS in Environmental Science, I am unwilling to loan to those who use unsound environmental practices, such as the use of herbicides, pesticides, or extensive monocultures that lead to soil depletion and the need for purchasing fertilizers.
