Bio:
Jamie's passion for travel and service was sparked at a young age when he spent the summers in high school doing service projects and homestays in Germany and the Czech Republic; working at a summer camp near Lyon, France; and playing hockey around New Zealand. After graduating from Amherst College, Jamie spent six years at Goldman Sachs, following which he traveled around the world for seven months. During that trip, he spent time in the Philippines, Indonesia, Mozambique, and Turkey, and developed a passion for living in small communities in developing countries. Jamie then received his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Between his two years at Tuck, Jamie was an Education Pioneers Fellow, working with Kings Collegiate Charter School in Brooklyn. After business school, he worked in the Business Affairs group at ESPN. Jamie is incredibly excited and grateful to return to the Philippines to help individuals reach their potential and improve their quality of life by working with Kiva.
