Bio:
James comes to Kiva from Deloitte Consulting LLP, where he has been working as a federal government consultant. He graduated with a degree in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia, where he was also a member of the inaugural MPP class of the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy. Originally from Washington, DC, he has long been interested in public institutions roles in poverty alleviation, and hopes to learn how the lessons of microfinance can apply to government initiatives. He is excited to live in East Africa for the first time, and is very proud to have been a Kiva lender since 2006.
