About me:
The Hospitality Project is located next to the largest food bank in the Lower Mainland. Started as a project in 2004 simply to bring people lining up for food out of the rain and a snowstorm, the project now provides a kind word, a cup of cofee, triage, advocacy, a clothing exchange, community kitchen, teacher to prepare adults to reenter education, and other services. The project works with a number of partners and provides many agencies the opportunity to work with people who come to the food bank - from Family Place, which works with young children, to visitors working on things from helping to house homeless persons to personal advocacy.
