I loan because:
We are a fund run by students from the International School of Lausanne, Switzerland. We collect loans from fellow students, teachers, and parents in our community to make loans to people across the world, embodying our international spirit. We want to loan to those less fortunate than ourselves. We believe the world should help those who put their hands out asking for a helping hand, not just a hand out. We admire those who seek to improve their standing in life by working hard and want to help them reach their goal. The satisfaction of knowing one is helping is reward enough and although micro-finance is not the solution to world poverty it is certainly a huge leap forwards.
About me:
The ISL MI-FI Fund was set up and is run by students from the International School of Lausanne. Our goal is to teach our community about micro financing and how our loans can help small entrepreneurs around the world. We gather loans from students, teachers and parents in our community and reach entrepreneurs around the world through Kiva.
