Bio:
Isaac graduated in Telecommunications Engineering in 2005 in his native Spain and during the following year studied an MSc in Operation Research at the London School of Economics. He then pursued a career in the financial services industry in London for four years, at first working for Barclays Plc and then for a market-leading hedge fund. He developed an interest in microfinance through a Kiva Fellow and banking colleague and has now arranged to put this into practise during his 2010 gap period in Mozambique. In July 2010 Isaac will study for an MBA in Shanghai. Isaac has lived previously in four European countries, is fluent in English, Spanish and Galician (a dialect of Portuguese) and can converse in French and German. He intends to apply his financial experience and to perfect his Portuguese during his time in Maputo.
