Bio:
Henry Bartram worked in corporate finance until 2002. This primarily involved private equity transactions (i.e. arranging financing for acquisition of businesses by their managers). In 2003, he spent 9 months in Tanzania as volunteer with a small MFI in Arusha. Henry subsequently worked with the Red Cross in Indonesia after the 2004 Tsunami and in Kenya with Merlin - a UK based medical charity, as well as a number of others (e.g. Save the Children, Oxfam), mainly in finance capacities. He took his first degree at Oxford University and has an MBA and accountancy qualification.
