I loan because:
I believe in the power of the Internet to help change the world. I had the chance to travel to many countries, most of them were very poor, and have always been wondering how to help those very nice people have a better living. I give to non-profit organizations but do not see directly the results of those donations. Microfinance is a wonderful tool, internationnaly recognized by the Nobel Prize for Peace given in 2006 to Muhammad Yunus. I want to be part of this effort and see people's situation improve. Kiva is great for that purpose.
