- I am enthralled with efficiency of microfinance and have been thoroughly impressed with the Kiva concept (not to mention the simple and well designed site!) .
- About me:
- My career has been focused on the technology/internet industry. Currently, I am switching gears and volunteering overseas for at least the next 6 months.
This November I will be going to Nigeria to volunteer with an organization called IDEA Builders (www.ideabuilders.org).
IDEA Builders mainly works with women in Rural Nigeria to help set up micro-enterprises. I will be over there to help work on Partnerships and Fundraising for the organization, and I think that Kiva could play a large role in that.
