Bio:: Brandon just graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics focused on Finance and Global Analysis and a Certificate in Spanish Language. He's originally from Southern California, and has enjoyed the opportunity over the past four years to explore Philadelphia, spend a semester studying international finance in Madrid, and experience a summer in New York City working for an investment bank. His interest in microfinance began during his sophomore year at Penn, when he became involved in a project to plan, fund, and found a series of socially entrepreneurial businesses at orphanages near Guatemala City. When he's not lost with a backpack in a remote (and usually warm) part of the globe, Brandon loves to cook, surf, play outdoor sports, and read. He's excited to return to Central America and learn more about the role of microcredit as a development strategy before starting work as a management consultant in New York City.
