I loan because:
[Mar,Jun,Sep,Dec]

We loan because this seems to be the most direct route in attempting to address the incredibly large global disparity in personal wealth. Access to money is essential for business development, especially small businesses. Filling some tiny portion of the demand for credit, that would otherwise be unmet, creates more potential for economic growth.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to stop by the gas station to fill up my SUV before hitting Starbucks on the way to my lovely cubicle. (joking, except about the cubicle)
.
About me:
I'm something between a scientist and an engineer. I work between 40 to 55 hours a week (3 weeks vacation/year) in a large building containing many floors of cubicles (a desk, a table,& 2 chairs surrounded by 2m tall flimsy 'walls') with computers. I'm part of a small team, working together to analyze the design of imaging satellites. All of our work is performed on computers whether its mathematical simulations, data management, or report writing. The work itself is not terribly difficult and is occasionally satisfying.

The people in my group are friendly, supportive, and among the best in our field. ...now if I could just spend a little less time staring at a computer screen...
