Our classes focus on international issues which quite often are economic based. As part of a class project we create micro finance educational materials and fundraising campaigns. This is our second year participating in our lending project and added more than $2,300 to our acount, which now totals nearly $4,600. We hope to continue this project next year and expand our lending portfolio.
About me:
Gahr High School is a Califiornia Distinguished School located in Cerritos, CA in south Los Angeles County. Our Model United Nations program's focus is on unresolved problems of the world and international relations. We participate in local and national conferences in which we simulate the actual United Nations.
