I loan because:
for me to free up an occasional $25 (by getting a book from a library instead of buying it, eating at home instead of eating out, not buying an extra shirt, "gifting" a friend a used CD instead of a new one, etc.) is easy. These small choices on my part enable me to help others in countries where $25 has a lot of buying power and can help individuals drastically improve their and their families' living situations, health care options, and opportunities for education.
