I am employed by local government to work with children in a residential unit in Inverness - a great job, but somewhat stressful at times.
I also work as a volunteer for a children's charity called Chernobyl Children Life Line. We fund and invite children from Belarus to visit the Scottish Highlands. They all come from areas contaminated by the fallout from the Chernobyl nuclear power station disaster of 1986. The children stay in the Highlands for one month to improve their health and experience lots of fun - great children!
