- Our first loans were placed in honor of our clients, instead of gifts at Christmas. As we have added loans, we are excited to participate in helping small businesses make a difference in lives around the world. We firmly believe that micro-lending is a way to give a hand up for those in poverty or on the brink of poverty, while allowing them to maintain their dignity in the process. And for us, it both broadens our horizons and helps us have a greater understanding of the world we live in--to have a global perspective.
