Bio:
Among other places, Claudine has called Annapolis, Cambridge, Beijing, and, most recently, Chicago home. But it is Kathmandu that keeps calling her back. An East Asian Studies major at Harvard, Claudine conducted her thesis research there in 2003 and fell in love with Nepal. Her experiences also inspired her to pursue a career and graduate work in economic development, first at Development Alternatives, Inc. (DAI) in Bethesda and then at MIT, where she received her Master in City Planning with concentrations in international development and affordable housing. For the past two years Claudine has worked in Chicago at a consulting firm that achieves local economic development goals through public-private financing strategies. She is so excited to return to Nepal and is thrilled to be working with BPW Patan.
