Location:
Hyderabad AP India
Occupation:
Impact Investing
I loan because:
I am committed to international development through entrepreneurship at the base of the economic pyramid. Economically sustainable and locally borne business, built from the bottom up, are the answer to poverty alleviation. Empowering people to help themselves will drive change beyond the wildest dreams of government.
About me:
I work for the Global Impact Investing Network. I'm a manager on our Impact Reporting and Investing Standards team. We're working on a series of common standards for reporting social impact. This is a piece of infrastructure that has been identified by Monitor consulting and the Rockefeller as critical to attracting more capital to the Impact Investing space.

Before taking this role I served as the manager for Monitoring and Evaluation for the Clinton Foundation in India.

Previously I had worked in India attempting to get a "Base of the Pyramid" business off the ground in the slums of Hyderabad and nearby villages. The project was a partnership between Cornell University and DuDpont.
