I love how microloans empower people to accomplish more than they thought possible. I don't have much, but when compared to most of the world, I've been blessed with "more" than enough. I've seen poverty firsthand during my travels around the world. Through KIVA, I can make a difference in the life of someone who is striving to break that cycle & better their economic situation.
About me:
I've worked with children in different teaching roles for more than thirty years - currently serving as a nanny in the gorgeous city of SF. I'm also a certified massage therapist, though my practice is on temporary hold, minus my massage chair. My biggest passion, besides being a Christ follower, is traveling the globe & discovering more about this amazing world we live in. I love experiencing different cultures, getting to know some of the locals, trying new foods & learning some of the history connected to where I'm visiting.
