I loan because:
I joined Kiva in March of 2007 and have been very happy with its success. I include Kiva as a part of a lesson in my Senior Social Economics/Community Service class and have had many seniors become lenders
About me:
I am teaching a CapSEEDS class that is linking the principles of economics with community service as well as each senior will be given a set amount of money to use as a microcredit loan. I signed up with Kiva in March of '07 to pilot if we could use this as a portal and it has been a success. I hope that this will be a web site that all our seniors continue to use to help people across the world as well as understand economic concepts.
