I loan because:
I own a small business which I run from Toronto in Canada. I loan because I want to help entrepreneurs from around the world to achieve their dreams. Here in Canada, virtually everybody has very easy access to credit, while this is not the case around the world. Canadian entrepreneurs can start a business by simply borrowing on their credit card, while many startups worldwide are struggling to get their business funded.

I have had many people help me in my business journey, and by lending to other people now, I hope I can make a difference and help small businesses succeed. Kiva.org allows successful entrepreneurs like myself to help to others in need of funding.
