I like the premise of this organization - many people making relatively modest loans can combine their efforts to make a huge difference. Also, it's set up in such a way to allow you to take a more active role. You're not just writing a check and hoping for the best. Rather, you can decide which activities to fund and can at least get a sense of the impact that your contribution is making.
About me:
I perform tests on pharmaceutical drug candidates to make sure that they have the characteristics necessary for use in treating human diseases.
