I loan because:: I think it's very important that every one in the world does what ever they can to make it a better place. I think that one of the best ways of doing this is to help people in poorer parts of the world set up their own businesses. I think that money spent locally by local people is the most cost effective way of using charity money. That is why I like Kiva so much. It is a charity that helps people take responsibility for their lives and create their own wealth. In this way I think the money that I give really does make a difference.
About me:: I work in London with Brookman Solicitors a leading firm of International divorce and family lawyers. We have a people orientated approach to this difficult work. I like to think that I help people through a stressful time in their lives, Working in London is great fun although it can be very hectic, especially in the morning rush hour which is crazy. London is a great city to live and work in though because there is so much to do and see. One of the things I love about the city is that there are so many people here from different countries and cultures, it really is a world city as the Olympics this year proved.
