I loan because:
Someone here in America, whose name is long forgotten, took a chance on a young immigrant from Scotland by making him a loan to open a store. Because of that chance, my family leads the blessed life it does today. That is why I lend. I am not a rich man, by U.S. standards. But by the standards of the world, I have much more than I need. So I give this little bit of money, because it is the "easy" part of being a business partner. I know that only YOUR own hard work can make it truly succeed. When my name is long forgotten as a lender, your family and community will remember you and the difference you made in their lives!
