We loan because we can and because it might make a lasting difference. Lending puts human faces on distant and abstract issues. Perhaps most of all, we make loans like this because we saw our parents do the same for people they met along the way.
About me:
Terri and Bob are both educators in North Carolina. Terri teaches high school. Her students have Autism and she prepares them for college. Bob teaches at a university about social movements and organizations that work to empower people to overcome inequalities.
