- it's such an easy and interesting and personal way to be helpful -- and since there's a good likelihood of being paid back, it really doesn't cost anything except a few cents of foregone interest -- and the return in feeling good about doing good is worth so much more!
- About me:
- I'm a retired professor of linguistics (the science of language), but I still teach part time, both in my university in the US and as a visiting professor in Moscow. My Russian husband and I are helping to "build bridges" between Russian linguistics and American linguistics. It's an exciting life!
