Bio:: Andrew's interest in microfinance and development was first piqued in 2007, when he served as one of the first interns for the New York chapter of a start-up microfinance organization called Wokai. After graduating in 2009, he worked as a civil legal assistant while also taking political economics classes at NYU and coordinating community-building projects for New York Cares. Andrew hopes that his Kiva Fellowship at BRAC Uganda will enable him to learn more about efficient NGO operations, microfinance, and the intersection of technology and development.
