Originally from Barranquilla, Colombia, Andrea moved to the US ten years ago. After college, she joined the New York transfer pricing practice at PwC, where she provided consulting services to multi-national corporations across a multitude of industries. Andrea also worked as part of the global markets team for the Advisory business during her last year at PwC. She recently joined Women's World Banking, a global network of microfinance institutions in New York, as an intern with their Strategy and Business Development team assisting in the development of WWB's greenfield strategy for Mexico. Andrea is looking forward to learning as much as possible about microfinance and international development through her Fellowship with Kiva, and applying that knowledge after completing her MBA.
