I loan because:	I believe in Kiva. I think that microfinancing is one of the best ways to address the massive imbalance in the global distribution of wealth and resources. I appreciate the non-judgmental nature of the lending process, and I am especially invested in the way that the borrowers decide what their needs are and take action on their own behalf. The autonomy and empowerment of the borrowers is so important to me. I think this is one of the best ways to help those who have fewer resources and options shape and direct their lives while gaining economic security and success.
