Bio:
Amber Barger graduated with a B.B.A. in Marketing and worked in the interactive marketing field before moving to Mongolia. The past two years Amber has been volunteering as a business development advisor in the U.S. Peace Corps. Her work has involved consulting and training small businesses in several rural grassroots development projects. When she is not working, she is taking in the bucolic, thousand-year-old Mongolian traditions that surround her. Amber is continuing to hone her ability to speak Mongolian and live in the coldest capital in the world, Ulaanbaatar. As well as being a Kiva Fellow, Amber will serve as a Peace Corps Volunteer Leader, acting as a liaison between volunteers, community organizations, and the Peace Corps staff.
