Bio:
Allison graduated with a BS in International Business from Pepperdine University, during which time she studied in Paris, France and Chiang Mai, Thailand. She has since returned to Thailand on multiple occasions to support an NGO that works to support those affected by the conflict in Burma. After graduating she spent a couple years teaching business and then chemistry at a low-income high school in Colorado. She studied business with the intention of working in economic development and has enjoyed the opportunity to use her degree in Burkina Faso and now Bénin. After learning about microfinance firsthand as a Kiva Fellow, she will be attending Yale School of Management. After earning her MBA, she hopes to jump back into the world of sustainable economic development.
