- Alex is interested in all things related to community development, entrepreneurship, and social business. He currently resides two blocks from the Nile River in Cairo, where he can pursue his love for exploring and learning from the places and people around him. Alex was born and raised in the DC metro area, and while in college, was trained in mediation techniques in the Czech Republic and counseling techniques in the US. Through his work, he has been exposed to the mechanics of both international development projects in MENA and non-profit organizations in the US. He is excited to learn from and work with Jordanians once again, this time as a Kiva Fellow, having had the privilege to do so once before while supporting USAID activities in Jordan.
