I loan because:
it's the best way I know of to help put an end to the crushing poverty experienced by so many of earth's population. Secondly, I feel so lucky, as a woman, to have been born in the U.S. Women around the world who suffer so much discrimination deserve to have someone in their corner.
About me:
I spent 30 years teaching elementary-age children, and I loved my career. My favorite age to teach was 10-11 years old, and I enjoyed exploring books and science with all my classes
