Bio:
Since graduating from Loyola Marymount University in 2010, Rory has spread his time between working for an international vegetable seed company and volunteering for various international development organizations. In the Netherlands and Salinas, CA he has conducted lettuce farming efficiency research and aided in product development initiatives. Intermingled with his time working with lettuce, he has served a four month volunteer stint working with two schools in Cambodia and a seven month volunteer internship at Kiva's headquarters in San Francisco. He is extremely excited to be joining the Kiva Fellows Program with One Acre Fund in Kenya where he can work leverage his prior work experience in both international development and agriculture.
