I loan because:
This was a birthday gift given to me to be able to help someone in the Pilippines make a better life for themselves I Joni, Cecil's widow, am inspired by the Kiva program and the letter just received. Sadly, my husband passed away on 17 Feb 2011, but I am carrying on the tradition and I would really love to know how to get Kiva into the Island of Or Mindoro, a place where we have friends in Calapan, Victoria and Pinamalayan to name a few as we spent 18 months on that Island 21 years ago and would like to help our friends succeed there as well. How can this be possible? Joni
About me:
I worked most of my life on a farm, first my fathers farm and then my own and now we own less than an acre of land with a nice duplex house with our son and daughter-in-law and three teenapge sons upstairs, and a very large vegetable garden. we want to promote people being able to grow their own gardens.
