Felomina has been a member of Ahon sa Hirap, Inc. (ASHI) for ten years with a very good credit rating. She has been able to run two rickshaw units with her previous loans. She has also been able to send her children to school from her income, supplemented by educational loans obtained from ASHI. They've built a comfortable house with the help of her housing loans. Her ASHI membership has greatly impacted her life and the life of her family.
Felomina has developed the self confidence to venture into businesses that can help her repay her loans, in spite of her limited education. She hopes that in the future her children will finish their studies and land good jobs in order to avoid the hardships she has experienced.
