Millicent A. is thirty years old. She is married and has given birth to four children, including twins. She says the twins are currently in school. She lives with her children and husband in a rented apartment in a fishing community called Aquase, near Cape Coast in the Central Region of Ghana.
Millicent is a trader. She trades in second hand textiles such as women’s clothes and bed sheets. She sells her goods locally and also treks to other markets to sell. She procures bales of textiles from wholesalers in the nearby towns. Apart from the textile selling, Millicent also supplies green vegetables (cocoyam leaves) to schools.
Millicent has been in business for six years and wants a loan to procure bales of textiles.
