Julia

Julia is a member of Bancomunal las Palmeras. She is a 76-year-old widow and has nine married children. She is from Ancash but came to Lima as a young girl. When she began her work, she would buy the wool and weave the sweatshits by hand. She also learned how to mend weaves and sew pants. Her husband was a tailor. When he died five years ago he left her his machinery. Julia, with her daughter, now works making sweatshirts. This 1600 sol loan will be used to buy the raw materials she needs. Since she has been in Finca, her business has grown; the training sessions they give, as well as the loans they have given her, have helped her improve her businesss. Julia's dream is to see her business continue to grow and prosper.

Julia tiene 76 años es viuda, tiene nueve hijos que están casados.
Julia es de Ancash llego a Lima de joven, empezó haciendo chompas, compraba lana y las tejía a mano, también aprendió a remallar, aprendió a coser y hacer pantalones, su esposo era sastre. Murió hace cinco años, dejándole las maquinas.
Ahora julia se dedica junto con su hija a confeccionar buzos.

Desde que esta en Finca, su negocio ha mejorado, las charlas que se dan le han ayudado para manejar mejor su negocio, también los prestamos que finca hace, ha sido de gran ayuda.
El sueño de Julia es que su negocio mejore y seguir prosperando.
