The present group is LAS HABILIDOSAS (“The Skillful Ones”). Currently, its members find themselves in their second cycle and the line of credit they manage ranges from 100.000 Gs. to 500.000 Gs. For the most part, the clients dedicate themselves to buying and selling merchandise. Other members, who have put forth much effort and responsibility, can see the fruit of their labors after many years of sacrifice. They now have general stores, snack bars, and sell products such as Kalúa and Avon. Thanks to the credit granted by the Fundacion Paraguaya and Kiva, they have the desire to advance every day.

El presente comité LAS HABILIDOSAS. Actualmente las integrantes se encuentran en el segundo ciclo y la linea de credito que manejan es de 100.000 Gs. a 500.000 Gs. En su mayoria de las clientes se dedican a compra y venta de mercaderias; estan las demas miembros del grupo que con mucho esfuerzo responsabilidad ven el fruto de muchos años de sacrificio cuentan ya con despensa, copetin, vendedora de productos de kalúa, avon. Y gracias al credito concebido por la Fundacion Paraguaya y Kiva tienen el deseo de superarse cada vez más, y seguir avanzando más.

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
