San S. is 45 years old and lives with her husband and four children in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. S. has an unusual business purchasing second-hand pillowcases, then re-selling them to people at the local market. Her business generates about $5.00 of revenue a day. Her husband works for a small private company and can contribute about $2.50 per day to the family's income. Two of her children also work at a private company, and the other two are still students. With this loan, S. hopes to expand her business by purchasing more second-hand pillowcases. In the future, S. hopes that she will be able to send her children to university.
