Lilibeth
Mrs. Lilibeth B., 41 years old and married, lives at Talairon, Oroquieta City, Mis. Occ. Her husband is a private driver of a delivery truck. She has 3 children. With her desire to help her husband, she decided to open a “sari-sari” (variety) store, in front of their house, starting up with a capital of only PHP 500. Her family only rents the land where they live at PHP 500/annum. Her primary customers were her neighbors & friends.

With the increasing demand of customers, she thought of expanding her business and joined Paglaum Multi-Purpose Cooperative in June 2002 to gain access to their credit facilities. She is thankful to Paglaum MPC, that her purpose of accessing additional capital has materialized. Now, she is applying for PHP 14,900 to buy cases of soft drinks & beverages for sale. She dreams of owning a parcel of land someday. She also plans to renovate her store.
