Nalusiba Night Group
In this Group: Safina , Molly, Night, Maureen
N. Night is 30 years of age. She is married with three children, aged 5 months to 16 years. She rents a one-roomed house with her family and she also looks after two other children of her relatives. She has two meals a day and her greatest expenses in a month are rent for her house and food.

She operates a bar and she rents a shop to do this business; she works seven days a week and she receives about thirty customers a day. She has done this business for two years now and so far she hasn’t met any kind of challenge.

She has worked with MCDT for one year; she has also worked with her group for one year. The reason why she chose to work with MCDT is because it gives out loans without security. She will use this loan to increase her stock. And she hopes that one day she will be able to buy a plot of land and build a house.

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
