Nelson
Nelson is a member of the communal bank "Los Ladrilleros", located in the community of Compañía which is 40 minutes outside of the city of Ayacucho. Nelson lives with his wife. He is 29 years old and has one child. Nelson makes a living by making handmade bricks. To bake the bricks, Nelson rents ovens. He sells his bricks in the community that he lives in. Furthermore, Nelson makes money by raising guinea pigs to sell. Neslon needs a loan of $400 (1,250 Soles) that he will use to buy firewood for the ovens. Nelson dreams of owning a car to sell his product outside of his community and to make a better life for himself and his family.
