A loan of $300 helped purchase of firewood.

Juana's story

Juana T. S. is a member of the Brick Makers’ Community Bank in the town of Compania. This town is located some 40 KM from the city of Ayacucho, Peru.

Juana is 51 years old. She and her husband have 7 children, and they earn a living by making bricks. This requires them to rent time with brick ovens. They sell their bricks in their neighborhood.

Juana is requesting a loan of 900 Peruvian Soles to be used for the purchase of firewood for the ovens. The money she earns will be used to help her finish construction of the second floor of their home.
