A loan of $3,425 helped of 22 to purchase high quality feeds for her ducks.


Chaung Pyar Village Group's story

Win from Chaung Pyar Village, a member from the group aims to purchase duck feeds from Proximity's loan. Win has four children and all them are married and working by themselves. Duck farming is her second business but as it has covered most of family's cost, Win plans to expand certain business. Profits from duck business will be financed to her main business, crop field. She is very warm-hearted and works very hard to succeed her goals.

This loan will help 22 members to purchase ducks and high quality feeds. Duck raising has recently been very popular in Myanmar and a way to boost income in rural areas. Ducks growers work very carefully to be kind to their ducks as it affects the egg production rate.
