Olga
The sale of chickens is not the only or first business that Olga has owned. When she began working she did so with the sale of fruits, a business to which she dedicated three years, until her son fell ill. After some time had passed, she started a food business until she was inspired to sell chickens.

After five years with loans from EDAPROSPO, Olga has managed to grow in this sector. Today, her street vending locale has turned into a concrete stall in a central location in the market in the area where she resides, and best of all, it is now her property.

Olga is 58 years old, and has 4 children, of which only one is under her care. Thanks to her work she can cover her family’s expenses, given that her husband works as a laborer but does not have a stable job. In the future she would like to open a store and next to it continue the sale of chickens given that she benefits from a good number of clients.
