Sot T., 29, is married and resides with her husband, her elderly mother and two of her children in the Kampong Cham province. She is a rice farmer who typically makes US$1 per day. Her husband is a worker who breaks rocks and sells them. On average, he makes US$4 per day. Two of their children are students. Mrs. Sot T. would like to take out a loan of US$600 to purchase a motorbike and tools to make ice cream. She will start a new business selling ice cream.
