The Blessing Group is a group currently in its fourth cycle of the Enterprising Women program. The group has a savings of 4,500,000 Paraguayan Guaraní. The members are women who live in the Conavi neighborhood in the city of San Lorenzo. All of the women are very responsible and active, and they do activities to help their neighbors. They very much appreciate the trainings that they have received through the Fundación Paraguaya program. Through the trainings they have learned to save and to better administer their businesses. The members of the Blessing Group have been working with Kiva partner Fundación Paraguaya for more than two years.
El comité Bendición es un comité que se encuentra en el 4to. Ciclo del programa de Mujeres Emprendadoras. El comite tiene un ahorro de 4.500.000. Las integrantes son señoras que viven en la villa CONAVI, de la ciudad de San Lorenzo. Todas las mujeres son muy responsables y activas, y ellas realizan actividades para ayudar a sus vecinos. Ellas aprecian mucho las capacitaciones que reciben a traves del programa de Fundacion Paraguaya. Pues así aprenden a ahorrar y administrar mejor su negocio. Las integrantes de Bendicion están trabajando hace mas de 2 años con la fundación.

This is a Group Loan
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
