Hannah Kuto is forty–one years old. She is married with three children- two boys and a girl. One child is currently in junior high school, the other two are in primary school. Hannah’s husband is a pastor at a church in their community. She lives with her family in a rented apartment in a town called Dormaa Ahenkro in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. Dormaa is an agricultural dominated town. It is about forty – five minutes drive from Sunyani, the regional capital.
Hannah trades crates of eggs to make some income to support her husband financially. She procures eggs from poultry farms in her community. Hannah sells at the local market square and also treks to other markets to do business. Besides the egg business, Hannah also deals in ready-made textiles. She has been in business for nine years. She wants a loan to increase her working capital to procure more goods. She hopes to help her husband improve upon their standard of living and give all their children the best education they can afford.
