Rosa's story

Rosa is 43 years old, lives with her husband and four children in the home that her mother left her as inheritance. She always liked clothes, particularly those that her daughter would ship to her from overseas, but in time she realized that the fabrics were of very good quality and would attract the attention of many, so she began to sell some of her dresses among her circle of friends. That is how her clothing sales business got started seven years ago. She now works with her two daughters who ship to her a variety of clothing articles that Mrs. Rosa sells to her many clients. This business has become very lucrative due to the novelty of the designs and the convenient prices of the garments, making them accessible to everyone.

In the future she would like to setup a stand where she can better serve her clients and also show the clothes that she sells. This is her tenth loan; Rosa has been working in coordination with her group peers, because they are known to be very organized within MFP. With the money requested she will sent funds to her daughters for the purchase of summer clothes in larger quantities in order to minimize the costs.
