Lina is a 33-year-old woman who lives with her husband in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. Lina has been a seamstress for two years. She both repairs and sells clothes.
Lina's customers say that she is a talented and capable seamstress. Her clients include her friends, neighbors, and others. Lina started her business because she needed to improve her financial situation and help supplement her family’s income.
Lina has requested a loan of 1000 US dollars from Al Majmoua to purchase additional clothes to sell and sewing supplies. This is the first time that Lina has requested a loan. In the future, she plans to improve and expand her business.
